Sichuan Opera

We ended our night with a highlight of the day, Sichuan Opera! Well, at least it is my personal highlight. We watched several plays in the Sichuan Opera, such as Rolling Light. The play was a mixture of chinese culture, singing, acting, comedy, and hand shadow puppet scenes. One of the many performances was of a man who switched masks, each displaying a different face. It was mesmerizing and intriguing, and even better up close.

I would say that the play was a great experience for all and probably helped us to understand the chinese culture a little bit more. I am really grateful and happy that we were able to see the play because people don’t always have the opportunity to experience that.
