Today was the day everyone was waiting for because of a dumpling making class, finest
Chinese architecture, a market for every need and an unbelievable performance of discipline
and skill.
After the breakfast, we got on the bus to drive to a Chinese cuisine school with 2000 students.
Those were very generous, they showed us around and already had an arriving gift prepared
for us. There we were, a huge screen in front of us. On it, written our school name, perfect for a
group picture.
After that, we were lead through the futuristic halls of the school to our class room, where we
would spend our time making dumplings and having them as lunch afterwards.
After some free time at the sacred grounds of the Temple of Heaven, the journey continued. Right across the street from the temple, there it was, four floors of tightly packed sellers that literally pull you into their stores full of clothing, accessories and souvenirs. The group easily spend about three hours, searching for the best deals and bargaining with sellers and even using their Chinese skills to do so.
Afterwards, our program leader had a surprise for us. Tickets to a Chinese acrobastic show. This was one hour of breathtaking stunts and skills that must have taken uncountable hours to perfect. Trying to describe this experience wouldn’t do it justice.
