After a long day, we grabbed food from a local market and headed to the train station. We boarded at 7:21pm and got off in Beijing at 7am the next morning. The train was crowded and it was difficult to maneuver with our large suitcases. There were two sets of hard bunkbeds to a room, a narrow hallway to walk around, and a great view of the passing city lights. It feels like a big sleep over party!

Although it is not easy to sleep on the train, but it's a life time memory. After the long night we visited the Llama Temple. We had the chance to see impressive Buddhist structures and practices. We could wish something with incense, the way they do it. We saw the 26 meters high statue of Maitreya that was carved out of a single white sandalwood tree. The intricate patterns and colors were breathtaking. All in all, we were tired but it was a great day.
