Mount Fuji - Kamea Konrad '19

Today was a day for travel. We left our hotel in the morning to take the shinkansen (bullet train) from Osaka to Tokyo. The train ride was about two and a half hours. It was more comfortable than I imagined even though it runs 180 mph. During the trip, the sky was clear enough that we could see Mount Fuji from the train. I heard that you don’t see the mountain all the time. I felt very lucky. We arrived in Tokyo and took the subway to our hotel where we were given a free time to explore around the hotel. We went to a small shop near the hotel where I had yakisoba. It was very tasty. Then afterwards I got a “Campagne” which is like a big cream puff from a cake shop near the hotel. It was a satisfying day. Our journey continues tomorrow!
