I get up early in the morning. I get up at 6:30 because Fisher did not wake me up at 6. I get ready and pack all my things and go to the lobby. We then all gather for a nice Western breakfast in the inn. This breakfast contained, corn soup, yogurt, bread and eggs and orange juice. After a delicious breakfast at the inn we head out to the train station, it is freezing cold outside and yet some people still have shorts on. We head to our first destination, a beautiful shrine (Fushimi Inari) that I've been waiting to come to for a long time. This is a shrine that I've always seen in magazines and on TV and that I was very excited to see. Unfortunately we do not get to go all the way up to the top of the shrine because it'll take another 2 hours which we do not have time to do in our busy schedule. Although I was very disappointed I was still glad for the opportunity to come and see the beginning of it. After this we continued on our trip by going to the Golden Pavilion this was a beautiful area and there was beautiful weather which I was very glad for. After we finish the viewing we all went to go gather and buy ice cream at first I got Haagen-Dazs ice cream green tea flavored but I immediately regretted it and got vanilla ice cream from the shop which was a lot better. Why did I buy Haagen-Dazs in Japan? After this we headed down and got some lunch the lunch was very good I had shoyu Ramen with rice and only for $8 which is a good price and it was very filling after this we headed to another shrine (Kitano Tenmangu) for an educational blessing this was a very interesting process that I was very happy to see and I really hope that the blessing does something for me and helps me to do better in my education. After this we headed to the train station got some snacks and carried on our way we went on the bullet train again to our hotel where we immediately dropped off all our bags did laundry which we all needed to do and got food at the convenience store for dinner I am now writing this on my bed at the new hotel excited for another day tomorrow.
