Bin El Ouidane

Today was our first morning in Morocco! We‘re currently staying at a small hotel right on the lake. The architecture and tile patterns on the walls and even the floors are amazing. The prettiest thing I’ve seen so far however was the sunrise from the roof this morning. Annika, Charolette, and I woke up around 7:30, put on sweaters, and walked up to the roof. After that we had another huge meal. Just like dinner, they just kept bringing us more and more breakfast and tea and coffee and orange juice! It was delicious. We just got back from a boat tour, and I think that’s what I’m suppose to be writting about so I’ll get into that haha. The water was super pretty! And it was cool to see all kinds of hidden houses around the lake. There was even a restaurant that you can only get to by boat and can jet ski at. We learned that a lot of Moroccans come to swim at the Lake during the summer. We also learned a lot about Moroccan history, the government and the monarchy, and the languages and school systems.
